At Access Wealth, we develop customized financial and investment plans that guide you on your personal and financial journeys. We ask strategic questions, listen to what is important to you, help you define attainable short- and long-term goals, and create the roadmap (a financial plan) to help you succeed.

Our only loyalty is to you – our client. As your fiduciary and advocate, we provide independent and unbiased advice when developing your plan. And because life is fluid, investment and financial plans must be too. That is why we communicate with you regularly and update plans as goals and circumstances change. We have operated in this manner for more than 30 years and it continues to serve our clients well.

What to Expect

Introductory Meeting

This is a chance for us to get to know each other. During the conversation, you will have ample opportunity to tell us what you want out of life, as well as share your priorities, values and concerns. We also encourage you to ask a lot of questions.

By the end of our discussion, you will understand our team approach and why we believe that your financial and life goals are inextricably linked. You will clearly see how our services can help you achieve your short- and long-term goals.

Data Gathering Meeting

The next step is to provide information that is needed to prepare your customized plan. We conduct a deeper dive into your feelings about your job, the financial markets, the legacy you would like to leave, and other areas that can impact your independence and the ability to achieve your goals.

Some questions we address include:

  • How can I become financially independent?
  • When can I retire?
  • Is my investment portfolio appropriate to meet my goals?
  • How do I fund an education for my children or grandchildren?

After the meeting, we prepare an action plan with specific recommendations designed to meet your goals and objectives. Our advisor team considers different scenarios and options and analyzes their possible implications to your overall financial health. This holistic approach considers how each recommendation impacts the comprehensive plan as your journey progresses.

Plan Presentation

At this meeting, we present your financial and investment plans. We spend as much time as needed explaining the purpose of each time-tested recommendation and its potential impact on your ability to achieve your stated goals. It is important to us that you are comfortable with the plan and feel secure.

Once you approve the recommendations, we implement (or help you implement) the strategies. We are also happy to discuss the plan with your other trusted advisors (such as your accountant or estate planning attorney). In our experience, having your entire advisory team on the same page greatly increases the likelihood of successfully meeting your goals.

The Importance of Ongoing Monitoring and Guidance

Financial planning is not a one-time event. Circumstances and goals can change; as does the financial landscape. When they do, it is important to adapt your plan. We are there every step of the way, meeting with you as often as needed to discuss the plan’s progress and how it aligns with your desires. When necessary, we also revise the plan to keep you on track.

We become part of our clients’ families; and as such, we care deeply about helping you succeed. You may want something but think it is unattainable. We welcome the opportunity to help you assess your situation and determine if it is indeed possible, either now or in the future with a realistic plan in place.

As part of our monitoring service, you receive quarterly benchmarking reports and unfettered access to your advisor, so you’ll always understand what the reports mean. In fact, you have access to the entire Access Wealth team throughout the year.
